Job Description
Under general supervision, effectively qualifies, prospects, performs Building Automation assessments, estimates, develops sales proposals, and provides solutions to our existing and new customers in the Commercial Building Market. Works with operations, service, and existing customer base as needed to offer our BMS solutions.

  • Obtains commitments for service agreements from existing as well as new customers.
  • Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Ensures a smooth sale to operations turnover and monitors progress.
  • Assists customers and future customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommends suitable resolutions accordingly.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking.
  • Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars.
  • Keeps current on market business and product trends.
  • Continues to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, business with two to four years of related work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Requires low to medium technical and financial expertise with an aptitude to learn and competently use company estimating tools as well as gain an understanding of related contractual and financial concepts.

JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

 

Under General supervision, provides installation and repair of complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint.  Able to perform work in a construction environment in a safe manner and to OSHA standards.  

 

Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Inspect control circuits including motor starters & control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, controllers, or fixtures.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems- HVAC.
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment.

 

Electrician Requirements:

  • OSHA 10 hr Certificate.
  • Completion of a State approved electrician apprenticeship program.
  • State Journeyman card (or in process of obtaining card)
  • Experience working as an electrician.
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver’s license.
